It’s great working with these cooking techniques as the low & slow method always brings out the very best flavours and smoking different types of foods elevates them with flavour explosions you would never imagine! Using locally sourced wood chips from Oakley based company Scottish Wood. Based less than ten miles away from us, they source all their chips from their own Inzievar woods making them a very sustainable company with a great ethos.
We do our very best to source the majority of our ingredients locally using Skinner of Kippen and J Hutchison butchers for our meat, who in turn use reputable suppliers Simpson Game and Millers of Speyside supplying the very best meat Scotland has to offer. Alloa based Central produce is our fruit & veg specialist!
Creating cool and quirky ways to serve up our meats & veggie dishes a lot of our dishes are bite size (hence the name) great for eating on the go or sampling a few dishes at a time!
We are also an eco-conscious business using sustainable packaging whenever and wherever possible from Vegware, Edenware, Simpky Kraft, Compost Me and Biopack.
